Interested in community service? Needing volunteer hours for graduation? UIW is here to help. Participate in Meet the Mission on Friday, Sept. 19th with projects taking place throughout the day.

Meet the Mission is the annual community service event hosted by UIW. With faculty led service projects, employees and students are encouraged to come and serve the San Antonio community. Some projects may include organizing a room for an after-school program, cleaning up a park, or helping an organization with creating materials for an upcoming event. Starting times vary depending on the project with each project lasting for a few hours.

Sponsored by the Office of Mission and Ministry and under the leadership of Sr. Walter Maher, this year will mark the 17th anniversary of the event. Over the past years, the event has seen significant growth in participation. With over 200 members participating over the years and over 20 community partner sites providing service projects, this event is a vital part of the UIW culture.

Be a part of the annual Meet the Mission and help show support to our community through service.
