After weeks of intense preparation, I finally reached a big milestone in this journey. I completed my pro day training and closed that chapter of the process. It felt good knowing all the long workouts, early mornings and long days were building toward this moment.
Once training wrapped up, I moved out of my apartment in Youngstown, Ohio and headed back to New Jersey. That alone felt like another transition, packing everything up again and resetting for what was coming next. But there was no time to slow down because pro day was right around the corner.
I flew back to San Antonio to perform at my pro day at the University of the Incarnate Word. Being back there meant a lot to me.
That is where I spent the last two years of my career, and it felt like everything came full circle.
This time, though, it was different. Instead of just playing for my team, I was performing in front of NFL scouts, trying to prove that I belong at the next level.
Going into pro day, there were definitely nerves. This is one of the biggest opportunities to showcase everything I have worked on. But once it started, I locked in and trusted my training. I am proud to say that I performed very well. All the preparation paid off, and I was able to show what I can do.
Now, the process continues in a different way. As we get closer to the NFL Draft, I am continuing to interview with NFL teams. These conversations are just as important as what happens on the field. Teams want to know who you are as a person, how you think, and how you handle pressure.
This part of the journey has taught me that it is not just about physical ability. It is about mindset, character, and how you carry yourself. Every conversation, every interaction, and every opportunity matters.
Right now, it is all about staying ready and staying patient. I have done the work, I have trusted the process, and now I am waiting for my opportunity.
No matter what happens next, I know I gave everything I had to this moment. And the journey is not over yet.
