Just because the school year is almost over, doesn’t mean the excitement doesn’t stop. Here are today’s and future sports that are taking place for UIW at the moment.
Baseball
UIW vs. University of Texas Rio Grande Valley will take place this evening at 6:30 p.m.at UTRGV Baseball Stadium in Edinburg, TX. UIW vs TAMMC will feature a three game series this weekend. Friday, April 25 at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 26 at 2 p.m., and Sunday, April 27 at 1.p.m.
Softball
UIW vs. Lamar will take place three times. The first game will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at HEB Field. The third game will take place at noon on Sunday, April 27 at HEB Field. Senior Day will also take place at the University welcomes our newest Cardinal for Life members!
Women’s Tennis
UIW vs. Lamar will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22 in the Southland Conference Tennis Championships in Thibodaux, LA.
Men’s Tennis
UIW vs. Bryant will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 24 in the Southland Conference Tennis Championships in Thibodaux, LA.
Track & Field
The UIW Track and Field team will compete in the UT Invitational hosted by the University of Texas on Thursday, April 24 through Friday, April 25.
The UIW Track and Field team will also compete in the Fred Duckett Twilight in Houston, TX on Saturday, April 26 hosted by Rice University.
Men’s Golf
The UIW Men’s Golf team is right now competing in the 2025 Southland Conference Golf Championships in Kerrville, TX which started Monday, April 21 and will conclude Wednesday, April 23.
