Choosing a costume for Halloween can be a complicated task for many. Year after year trends change, and while there will always be the classics, there are always more characters coming as candidates for costume of the year.
These are the top five costumes currently at the peak of popularity for Halloween 2024.
- Deadpool and Wolverine:
After the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, these two characters have rose to the top. Whether it’s with a sibling, best friend, or significant other, Deadpool and Wolverine are a fantastic duos choice for this Halloween.
2. Beetlejuice:
After the return of Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice, this costume returns to the top of popularity. Although Beetlejuice was already considered a classic character for Halloween, his return has caused new generations to fall in love with him for this holiday season.
3. The Joker:
With the premiere of the second part of The Joker, it is once again a popular costume. Joaquin Phoenix’s iconic character is back with a lot of strength to mark Halloween of 2024.
4. Elphaba and Glinda:
2024 cinema is giving us a movie adaptation to the Broadway hit Wicked, in which the main characters, Elphaba and Glinda, leave Oz and enter our homes for an epic costume.
5. Barbie and Ken:
For the second year in a row, Barbie and Ken become the most iconic couple to be represented. With their unique styles and different versions, such as cowboy, beach, or stereotypical, there is so much variety that will never make it go out of style.
